Position Summary

The Short-Term Technical Assistant (STTA) will be part of the Digital Financial Services (DFS) team and will support specifically the digital public infrastructure team  in executing and coordinating strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening the Raast/digital payments ecosystem.

The role will contribute to the design and implementation of programs that drive increased usage and adoption of digital payments across the ecosystem. This will involve developing a strong understanding of the market landscape, conducting ecosystem research, identifying key barriers and opportunities, and designing targeted incentive structures and marketing campaigns to accelerate uptake.

The STTA is expected to possess a foundational understanding of digital payments and contribute to the development of products, programs, incentive schemes, and awareness initiatives. Additionally, the role will support the team in research, data analytics, and generating insights to inform strategic decision-making and program optimization.

  • Ecosystem Development: Work as part of the team to design and implement projects that strengthen the Raast ecosystem, focusing on innovative use cases, new models, incentive structures,  and increasing digital payment usage among consumers and merchants.
  • Campaign Execution: Contribute to the design and rollout of awareness and incentive-based campaigns aimed at driving higher adoption and transaction activity.
  • Data Review and Insights: Support in conducting reviews of user behavior, adoption trends, and Raast performance. Additionally, translate findings into practical insights and present them in a structured way.
  • Market and Competitive Research: Work on doing basic research and data analytics to Conduct research studies to develop market insights that support the team in designing programs.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Participation in discussions with key stakeholders such as the State Bank of Pakistan and implementation partners to share updates, gather input and support coordinated execution.
  • Progress Reporting: Prepare regular updates summarizing key achievements, challenges, milestones, and recommendations for improvement.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree qualified in business, finance or economics related discipline.
  • 0-1 year experience of working in business/marketing/digital payments domain
  • Analytical skills, able to work with data and present in a structured form for the team
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
