In the e-commerce value chain, Karandaaz aims to reduce the reliance on Cash on Delivery (COD) by fostering digital payment adoption through ecosystem assessments, incentives, and trust-building measures, driving sustainable growth and efficiency in Pakistan’s e-commerce sector.
Agri Value Chain
Target the agricultural sector by collaborating with agri value chain stakeholders including farmers, agribusinesses, and agricultural cooperatives to develop DFS solutions that address the financial needs of smallholder farmers and create efficient agricultural value chains.
E-Commerce Value Chain
Karandaaz is focused on transforming Pakistan’s e-commerce value chain by addressing the heavy reliance on Cash on Delivery (COD). Through a comprehensive assessment of the ecosystem, Karandaaz identified key drivers of cash usage and areas for digital payment integration. It is working on initiatives to promote digital payments at customers’ doorsteps, using incentives to encourage adoption. Additionally, Karandaaz is developing a strategy to build trust in digital payments and explore escrow services, aiming to reduce reliance on COD and drive sustainable growth in the e-commerce sector.
