FBR - ongoing digitization of tax collection
Pakistan Revenue Automation pvt. Ltd. (PRAL) works in alignment with FBR under the government of Pakistan to provide software solutions to streamline the tax collection process.
FBR embarked on a journey to attain thorough and comprehensive end-to-end digitalization through collaboration with Karandaaz Pakistan for realising overall objectives of the digital transformation of FBR. As an outcome Tax-to-GDP ratio will be improved with an opportunity for increasing tax collection through better compliance.
SECP-LEAP Programme (FCDO Funded)
Karandaaz partnered with SECP to launch the LEAP initiative, significantly advancing SECP’s automation and digitization efforts. LEAP enhances company registration, compliance, licensing, supervision, and enforcement, promoting greater transparency and regulatory efficiency.
The LEAP programme reviews, re-engineers, and automates more than 250 business processes, improving the ease of doing business through digital channels, real-time data verification, online payments, and integrated system exchanges. It facilitates real-time monitoring, mobile tracking, efficient document management, simplified regulations, and informed decision-making through advanced analytics.
Digitisation of Payments at the National Bank of Pakistan
Karandaaz supported NBP in developing a digital strategy for payment flows. In the second phase, Karandaaz helped create an open API platform for government transactions, integrating major G2P/P2G schemes. This platform is expected to improve efficiency, benefit the public and NBP customers, and boost mobile wallet adoption.
Promoting Financial Inclusion through Savings amongst Excluded Populations
Karandaaz has been engaged with Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) to provide technical support to enable wider access to savings accounts through building alternate delivery channels focused on excluded populations, especially women and the unbanked.
Pakistan Post - Money Order Digitization
Karandaaz provided technical assistance to Pakistan Post for digitising its money order service. This will help Pakistan Post build new business opportunities, to improve service penetration and provide efficient, transparent and convenient services to its customers.
