Reporting Structure
This role will be in the Finance Department and the reporting line under Manager Corporate Finance & Treasury.
About Us
Karandaaz Pakistan is a not-for-profit organization, based out of Islamabad, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017. The entity has been seeded by Enterprise and Asset Growth Programme of UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and our digital finance initiatives are being funded by the Gates Foundation.

Terms of Reference:
- Assist in month-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely data filings.
- Provide support to the Treasury team in preparing documentation required by external banks for daily operations and fund transfers.
- Support the Treasury team in calculating monthly profits by ensuring the timely availability of bank statements and other necessary data.
- Liaise with the Finance department to ensure accurate accounting entries in Oracle, facilitating smooth month-end closing and bank reconciliation.
- Serve as a backup for other administrative treasury functions as needed.
- Assist the team in monitoring adherence to internal accounting policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Actively contribute to other administrative treasury functions and assist with ad-hoc tasks or special projects as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
• Qualified ACCA, CMA, MBA, Masters in Accounting & Finance or related discipline
Experience:
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience of working in treasury
• Strong analytical skills, able to work with data and generate accurate insights for decision making
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and proficiency in financial systems.
