Karandaaz Pakistan is a not-for-profit organization based out of Islamabad, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017. The entity has been seeded by the Enterprise and Asset Growth Programme of UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), and our digital finance initiatives are being funded by the Gates Foundation.

Job Description

Position Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented STTA for a temporary 3-month contract. In this role, you will help coordinate our upcoming external audit and keep our day-to-day accounting functions running smoothly.

• Audit Coordination: Manage daily requests from external auditors, gather required documentation, and follow up across departments to ensure deadlines are met.
• Financial Reconciliations: Prepare and review key accounting schedules, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting audit files.
• Routine Accounting Support: Assist with core day-to-day reporting and accounting duties to keep operations running smoothly.
• Cross-Departmental Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact between the finance team, auditors, and internal departments to prevent bottlenecks.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 0–1 years of experience in audit support, financial reporting, accounting, or digital/tech-finance operations.
• Familiarity with financial reconciliations, accounting schedules, or audit preparation workflows is highly desirable.
