Position Summary 

The Assistant Manager (AM) People Services will play a key role in managing HR data, analytics, and financial calculations, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis to support decision-making. The incumbent will also oversee annual budgeting for the People Services function, compensation structures, and cost analysis while ensuring compliance with policies and labour laws.

Job Responsibilities

Data & Analytics

  • Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure the preparation and management of the annual HR budget, ensuring accuracy in financial forecasting, cost-benefit analysis, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure precise tracking and reporting of employee costs, including salaries, benefits, and other HR-related expenses.
  • Support payroll processing, compensation structuring, and benefits administration in collaboration.
  • Monitor and report key People metrics, including headcount, turnover, engagement, and cost analysis.
  • Provide analytical support for workforce planning, recruitment strategies, and resource allocation to optimize organizational efficiency.

HR Business Partnering

  • Partner with department heads to align the KRN Talent Strategy with business objectives, providing insights on workforce planning, engagement, and retention.
  • Ensure smooth execution of HR operations, including maintaining employee records, managing probations and agreements and ensuring compliance with labour laws.
  • Assist in managing the performance management cycle, including goal-setting, mid-year reviews, and annual evaluations.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives by implementing policies that enhance workplace culture and productivity.
  • Manage the employee separation process, ensuring compliance with exit formalities, conducting separation interviews, and analyzing trends for retention strategies.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Manage and maintain staff databases, ensuring timely reporting and accessibility of critical HR data.
  • Support revisions and updates to HR policies and procedures to align with best practices and business needs.
  • Assist in facilitating internal and external HR audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.
  • Lead the transition and adoption of new HR technologies and systems implementations.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and best practices in HR operations.
  • Perform other duties as required for the smooth functioning of the department and the organization as a whole.

Eligibility

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management or Business Administration. A specialized qualification in HR or data analytics will have an added competitive advantage.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in HR operations, analytics, or business partnering, with demonstrated growth in responsibilities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of a lean and non-profit organization
  • Knowledge of the employment laws of Pakistan and compliance requirements
  • Strong proficiency in HRIS, Google Suite, and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with HR data, budgets, and financial forecasting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive process improvements.
